The Silver Fern Air Cell Crash Pad 300mm is a landing pad measuring 3 m long, 1.5 m wide and 300 mm deep, built for school and club gymnastics and high jump at lower levels. It is the shallowest pad in the Silver Fern air cell range, which makes it the easiest to shift between gym and field and the natural pick for junior programmes.
The pad is filled with urethane cell foam and covered in PVC, with reinforced handles for carrying and breather panels that let air move as a landing compresses the foam. Pads from this range can be combined into a set with a top cover for competition, so a school can start with one pad and build a larger landing area later. Store the pad flat and dry, off bare concrete where possible, and keep it clear of sharp edges that could cut the PVC cover. Lift by the handles rather than dragging by the cover. Landings should always be supervised by a coach or teacher.
