Junior basketballs run from size 4 up to size 6, covering primary through to intermediate players learning the game before they move to a full adult ball. Wilson’s JR NBA balls come in blue, red and black across those three sizes, School Property covers sizes 5 to 7 plus its own PVC trainer, and Avaro adds a further PVC trainer for everyday practice.

The trainers are the ones to reach for on hard playground surfaces, while the branded match balls suit indoor PE sessions and mini-ball competitions where a class is grouped by size and age.
