Who it's for
The Javelin Weight Guide matches the 700 g javelin to male athletes aged 16 to 17 and men's masters aged 50 to 59, so this trainer suits senior secondary school squads and club groups. Women's grades stop at 600 g, so a mixed squad will also need the Trainer Javelin – 600gm.
Younger throwers take the Trainer Javelin – 500gm and senior men the Trainer Javelin – 800gm.
Sizing guide
Boys under 17 is the supplier's own suitability note; the weight guide narrows that to 16 to 17 years for the 700 g implement. Younger boys throw 500 g or 600 g.
Care, safety and set-up
Carry it point-down, store it flat or racked under cover, and check the cord grip for fraying before sessions. Imported stock; orders generally dispatch the same or next business day.
