Description
Overview
The Jadco Big Digit Timer is a compact interval timer with large digits and simple buttons, made for anyone running timed activities: PE circuits, fitness testing, swim sets, lab work or a kitchen. It counts up or down to 100 minutes and seconds, recalls the last count, counts on past zero and shows the final minute in seconds.
The three-way mounting on the back is the practical difference from a handheld stopwatch: stand it flat or upright on a bench, hang it from a cord or hook by the loop, or stick it to a metal surface with the magnets. For a handheld alternative, see the Stopwatch Ultrak 340 or the wider stopwatches & timers range.
Key benefits
- Readable at a glance thanks to the large digits.
- Runs repeat intervals without re-entering times: it returns to the set time after each alarm.
- Hard to miss, with a loud alarm that sounds for 30 seconds.
- Mounts three ways: flat or upright stand, cord loop, or magnets on metal.
- Ready out of the box with 1 × AAA battery included.
Who it's for
PE teachers running circuits and fitness testing, swim and waterpolo coaches timing sets from the pool deck, athletics officials and school science labs. It is a bench or wall timer rather than a lap stopwatch.
Care, safety and set-up
Wipe the casing clean; the ABS plastic is food safe, so it can live in a canteen. It runs on one AAA battery, included.
Frequently asked questions
Does it record lap or split times?
No. It is an interval timer that counts up or down. For lap splits in athletics or swimming, look at the handheld stopwatches in the range.
How does the alarm work?
It sounds for 30 seconds or until you press start/stop, then the timer returns to the original set time.
Can it attach to a whiteboard or pool railing?
The magnets on the back grip metal surfaces such as a steel whiteboard, and the loop takes a cord or hook for hanging elsewhere.
