That is what “high spin” means, and it is why it suits an athlete with a developed technique rather than a beginner, who will get more out of a low-spin discus.
Pick a weight above. 1kg is the standard womens competition weight, 1.75kg U18 mens and 2kg senior mens; the lighter ones are for younger grades.
