Description

Overview

The Crazy Catch Professional is the group-size rebounder in the Crazy Catch range, with the largest rebound surface of the three nets we stock. It is designed for a whole squad working through catching and reaction drills together, indoors in a gym or outdoors on the field, and it packs into its carry bag between sessions.

What separates it from a plain rebound net is the two-sided design. One side is the Sane net, which returns the ball predictably so players can groove a catching technique. Flip the frame and the Insane net fires the ball back at unpredictable angles, forcing quick feet and fast hands.

Key benefits

  • Enough rebound area for a whole team to train at once.
  • Frame stands horizontally or vertically to suit longer-distance throwing drills.
  • Steel frame and nylon nets built for years of hard group training.
  • Predictable Sane side for technique, unpredictable Insane side for reactions.
  • Portable, with a carry bag included for moving between gym and field.

Who it's for

Buy this size when you are running sessions for a full team or a PE class rotating through stations. Cricket clubs use it for slip and close-catching work, and PE departments use it across any catching sport because the rebound works with whatever ball you throw at it.

If you only need a net for one or two players, or you want something lighter to carry to the park, the medium-size Crazy Catch Wild Child covers most individual training. The Crazy Catch Freestyler is the smaller option again. All three are listed under our coaching and catching gear for cricket.

Care, safety and set-up

Pack the frame into the carry bag when it is not in use and store it dry. The nylon nets and steel frame are built for hard use, but keeping it out of the weather between sessions will extend its life. Set the net up on a flat surface with space behind it for balls that miss the frame.

Orders generally dispatch the same or next business day. If you are fitting out a cricket programme, add the rebounder to a quote and request a quote for school or club pricing.

Frequently asked questions

What is the difference between the Sane and Insane sides?

The Sane net returns the ball in a predictable direction for technique work. The Insane net sends it back in unpredictable directions to sharpen reactions.

Can it be used indoors?

Yes. It is built for indoor or outdoor training, so it works in a school gym as well as on the field.

How is this different from the Wild Child?

The Professional has the largest rebound surface and a frame that can be set horizontally or vertically, which suits longer-distance throwing and group use. The Crazy Catch Wild Child is smaller and easier to carry for individual practice.

Is anything else needed?

The frame, both rebound sides, the Freestyle features and a carry bag are included. Balls are sold separately, and a Yellow PVC Cricket Ball 72mm is a practical choice for school use.
