Description
Overview
The Avaro Agility Ladder 9m is designed to improve acceleration through repeated fast-feet patterns. At 9 m it is the longer of our two ladders, so athletes have space to build rhythm and reach full stride before they run off the end. The rungs are flat rather than round, which keeps the ladder low to the surface.
It belongs in the speed & agility range alongside sledges, resistors and chutes. For a shorter drill space or a younger group, the Agility Ladder 4m covers the same movements in less room.
Key benefits
- Flat rungs sit low, so feet clear them cleanly at speed.
- 9 m length allows full acceleration patterns, not just short shuffles.
- Designed to improve acceleration through fast-feet footwork drills.
- Works for one athlete or a whole squad rotating through in turn.
Who it's for
Club coaches in rugby union, rugby league, football (soccer), netball and touch running pre-season speed work, secondary school PE and athletics programmes, and gym users adding footwork to conditioning.
Choose the Agility Ladder 4m instead if you are working in a gym with limited floor length or setting several short stations for a primary class. The Speed Agility Kit bundles ladder-style drills with other speed gear for a club starting from scratch.
Care, safety and set-up
Pack the ladder away after use and store it dry. Lay it flat and straight before each drill so the rungs stay evenly spaced. Covered by our 12-month guarantee, and quantity pricing applies if you are buying several for a club.
