Description
Overview
The Battling Rope 15m x 32mm is a conditioning rope for aerobic fitness, strength and stamina work. Anchor the midpoint and the user works both ends with waves, slams and circles. It is made from synthetic fibre rather than manila, so it does not leave fibres across your gym floor, and each end is finished with a rubber grip.
The 32 mm diameter is the slimmer of our two ropes, easier for smaller hands to close around, and the 15 m length gives more rope to move. If you want a shorter, thicker rope, see the Battling Rope 12m x 38mm in our cardio equipment range.
Key benefits
- Stays in the hand during waves and slams thanks to rubber-gripped ends.
- No fibre mess on the floor, as synthetic fibre replaces manila.
- Long 15 m length gives plenty of rope for full-range waves.
- Slimmer 32 mm diameter suits users with smaller hands.
- Locally made and supplied from NZ stock.
Who it's for
Battle ropes suit secondary school fitness units, club pre-season conditioning and gym circuit stations where several athletes rotate through short, hard efforts. Because the rope is anchored and the user stays in one spot, it needs only a strip of floor and a fixed anchor point.
Care, safety and set-up
Anchor the rope around a solid post, pole base or wall anchor before use and check the rubber grips for wear. Coil it after each session and store it dry.
Frequently asked questions
What is the difference between the two battling ropes?
This rope is 15 m long and 32 mm thick. The Battling Rope 12m x 38mm is shorter and thicker. Choose by hand size and the floor length available.
Will it shed fibres like a manila rope?
No. It is made from synthetic fibre to avoid the mess manila leaves behind and to improve durability.
Can a school get a quote for several ropes?
Yes. Add the rope to a quote and request a quote; funding packages are also available for schools and clubs.
