Description

Overview

The Avaro Long Half Round Foam Roller is a 90 cm roller with one flat face and one curved face, made from medium-density foam that is firm to work on but soft to the touch. A subtle surface texture gives traction so it does not skate across a hall floor mid-exercise.

The half-round shape is the reason to pick it over a full roller: flat side down it stays put for balance and core work, curved side down it becomes a controlled wobble. Compare it with the Long Full Round Foam Roller if rolling out legs and back is the main job.

Key benefits

  • Stays put during balance and core drills thanks to the flat base.
  • Firm medium-density foam gives solid support yet stays soft to touch.
  • Subtle surface texture adds traction on smooth studio floors.
  • Resists denting, so it holds its shape through daily class use.
  • Light at 0.31 kg, so a class set is easy to carry and store.

Who it's for

Suits PE teachers running stability & balance or yoga & pilates units, stretching and recovery sessions in club gyms, and anyone building a home mobility kit. It is an indoor tool for hall, studio and mat use.

For a roller that travels in a kitbag, the Short Full Round Foam Roller is the compact option; for full-body rolling, choose the long full round roller.

Care, safety and set-up

Wipe down with a damp cloth after sweaty sessions and let it dry before stacking. Store on a shelf away from sharp edges to keep the foam surface unmarked. Avaro is the house brand, designed in NZ.
