The Vinex Crash Mat – Aerate Foam is a large landing mat built for two jobs: catching gymnasts coming off apparatus and cushioning high jump landings on the athletics field. Its point of difference is air flow. The yellow sections of the cover are a strong mesh fabric, so air inside the mat escapes through them the moment an athlete lands rather than being trapped under a sealed skin.
The design goal is a smoother landing with better shock absorption. The mat sits alongside the rest of our crash mats & pads for gymnastics and is also listed under high jump pads for athletics programmes.
