Description
Overview
The Short Tennis/Padder Tennis Kit is designed to introduce junior players to tennis with gear scaled to them. Ten plastic short tennis rackets mean a group of 10 can hit at once, and the mini portable net turns a hall, court or patch of grass into a short-tennis court. The whole kit travels in a royal/white BIZ Flash bag.
The two ball types are the teaching progression. Start with the 6 cm soft foam balls, which are softer and easier for beginners to hit, then move to the 6 yellow Avaro tennis balls when timing improves. Rackets can be replaced individually from the Short Tennis Racket – Plastic listing, and if you prefer paddles for your programme, the Padder Tennis Bat is sold separately.

Who it's for
This kit is for junior PE classes, after-school programmes and junior clubs that want to run short tennis with a small group and no permanent court. Everything needed to develop the key skills is in the bag, so a teacher can set up a session anywhere on site.
It is a beginner and junior kit. Players already using full-size rackets will outgrow the plastic short rackets, so browse the wider junior tennis range for the next step, or the tennis kitsets category for other group options.
Sizing guide
The rackets are short tennis rackets sized for junior hands rather than full-length adult frames; exact racket length is not listed on this page. The foam balls are 6 cm.
Care, safety and set-up
Set the portable net up on a flat surface and pack it back into the bag after each session so parts are not lost. Keep the foam balls in the bag when not in use so they stay clean, and count the rackets back in at the end of class.
Orders generally dispatch the same or next business day, and the kit is covered by the store's 12-month guarantee.
