Description
Overview
The Outdoor Reversible Goal 50NB is the larger of the two GL reversible Kiwi posts, with a 60.30 mm outer diameter. Like its slimmer sibling it is a fixed-height galvanised post with a Kiwi-height hoop at one end and a full-height hoop at the other, so which way the post is set decides the goal height.
Netball clubs and schools that run junior grades and senior games on the same asphalt courts are the natural buyers. Instead of storing spare posts, ground staff change the orientation. It is part of the GL range of made-to-order court equipment supplied through Sports Distributors.
Key benefits
- Junior and senior netball on the same footing, without a second post.
- Larger 60.30 mm diameter matches the bigger ground sleeve size.
- Fixed height means no telescopic clamp to loosen over a season.
- Galvanised for a permanent outdoor installation.
- Can be concreted in or lifted out of a ground sleeve.
Who it's for
This is the post to specify when your sleeves are the larger diameter, or when a club wants the heavier of the two options for a court in constant use. Shipping weight is 40 kg per post, so plan for help and a suitable vehicle at delivery.
For a school with the smaller sleeves, see the Outdoor Reversible Goal – 40NB w./ Hooks. Teams that need to move the goal around a hall or shared space should look at the GL Junior In/Outdoor Telescopic Portable Goal instead.
Sizing guide
Two heights on one post: Kiwi height for the junior game and full height for everyone else. The site's netball goal size guide gives 3.05 m as full height for 5+yrs and 2.6 m for 3-4yrs, with hula hoops or portable goals at about 2.1 m for the youngest. Check with our team on the exact Kiwi height of this post if your competition requires it.
Care, safety and set-up
Measure the inner diameter of your ground sleeve before you order. This post is 60.30 mm outside; the wrong choice means a re-stocking fee and extra freight.
Being made to order, the post is manufactured after you commit and is delivered on a freight quote. Use the request a quote option for a multi-court fit-out and ask about funding packages if you are a school or club.
Frequently asked questions
Which sleeve size does the 50NB need?
One with an inner diameter that suits a 60.30 mm post. The NB40 version is 48.10 mm if your sleeves are smaller. Measure before ordering.
Does one post come with pads?
No. Pads are a separate purchase, sold in pairs in 1.8 m, 2.4 m and 3.0 m.
How do I change between Kiwi and full height?
The post carries a hoop at each end, so the height depends on which way it is installed. If you plan to swap between heights, talk to our team about using a ground sleeve rather than concreting the post in.
Is this an indoor goal?
No, it is listed as an outdoor goal. For indoor courts see the Indoor Telescopic Goal or the Indoor Fixed Height Goal.
