Description
Overview
Avaro's Curved Balance Beam is built for movement rather than gymnastics form. The 12 curved plastic pieces, 3.8 m in total, can be arranged into bends and zigzags across a hall floor, so it works as one station in an obstacle course or a warm-up circuit.
It belongs to our active play range: gear that gets junior students moving, balancing and taking turns without formal coaching.
Key benefits
- Change the course every session by rearranging the curved pieces.
- Challenge co-ordination with a path that bends instead of running straight.
- Suits shared spaces: unpack the 3.8 m set, use it, pack it away.
- Light enough for a programme leader to carry at around 3 kg.
Who it's for
Pick this beam for playgrounds, after-school care, holiday programmes and junior club sessions where the aim is fun, confident movement. A path with turns in it asks more of a young student's balance than a plain line does.
The Plastic Balance Beam is the companion set in our gymnastics category if you want a second 3.8 m run for a longer course.
Care, safety and set-up
Lay the pieces on a flat floor and keep an adult supervising while students are on the beam. Wipe the plastic down after use and store the set together.
Frequently asked questions
Can the pieces be laid in different shapes?
Yes. The pieces are curved, so you can set out bends, zigzags and winding paths rather than a single straight run.
How much floor space do I need?
The full set is 3.8 m long when laid end to end; a curved layout takes up a shorter but wider area.
Do you offer quantity pricing for schools?
Quantity pricing applies on many lines. Add the sets to a quote and our team will confirm.
