Description
Overview
The Avaro Club Match Red Sz5 Carton holds 40 red and black size 5 rugby union balls. Buying a full carton in one colour is the simplest way to separate gear: give the red balls to one grade, one team or one drill station and they are easy to count back in at the end of a session.
Under the colour it is the same Club Match ball as the rest of the range. Hand stitching over a 3 ply polycotton and rubber laminate gives a durable outer, the latex bladder is built for long air retention, and the dimpled 3D grip surface is aimed squarely at passing and catching control. Browse the wider rugby union category for gear to run alongside it.

Who it's for
Best suited to club coaches running multiple age grades on the same night and to school rugby coordinators who want each team's ball stock kept apart. Size 5 is the ball for players aged 13 and over; it is a training ball first and a junior match ball second, so use a dedicated match ball for senior competition games.
If red is already taken, the same carton comes as the Avaro Club Match Blue Sz5 Carton (40) or Avaro Club Match Yellow Sz5 Carton (40). For players aged 11 to 12, the Avaro Club Match RG – S4 is the size 4 option sold singly.
Sizing guide
Rugby size guide: size 2.5 for ages 7 to 8, size 3 for ages 9 to 10, size 4 for ages 11 to 12, size 5 for ages 13 and over. Every ball in this carton is a size 5.
Care, safety and set-up
Keep the balls at a firm playing pressure and dry them off before they go back in the shed. Orders normally leave us the same or next business day, and each ball is covered by our 12-month guarantee.
Frequently asked questions
Can we mix red with other colours in one order?
Yes. Each colour is its own carton listing, so add the red carton alongside the blue or yellow cartons in the same order or quote.
Which grades can use it for matches?
Avaro describes the Club Match as a junior match ball, so it suits junior grade fixtures and school games. Senior competition matches should use a dedicated match ball.
Can a school or club get quantity pricing?
Quantity pricing applies on many of our lines, and you can request a quote for a full season's supply for a school or club.
