Description

Overview

The Match Grade Badminton Net from Avaro is a full-width 6.1 m net for school and club courts. The netting is 6 ply synthetic with a headband along the top, so it hangs straight and takes the wear of daily PE use.

It weighs about 0.3 kg, so it is quick to take down and store between sessions. The Tournament Badminton Net 6.1m is the alternative if you run competition events.

Key benefits

  • Stands up to daily school use with 6 ply synthetic netting.
  • Hangs straight across the court thanks to the headband along the top.
  • Covers the full 6.1 m span between posts.
  • Light to store and carry at about 0.3 kg.

Who it's for

This net suits PE departments and clubs replacing a worn net on existing posts, or setting up new courts with the Combo Pole System for sockets. It is one of the badminton nets in the Avaro range.

For tournament play, look at the Tournament Badminton Net 6.1m instead.

Care, safety and set-up

Set the net so it measures 1.55 m high at the posts and 1.524 m at the centre, with the posts placed over the doubles sidelines even when singles is played. Take the net down and store it dry between terms to protect the netting.
