Description
Overview
The cut-to-length skipping rope is plain 10 mm nylon rope, sold by the metre and cut to the length you specify at checkout. It fills the gap left by standard skipping ropes, which are too short for Double Dutch and other long-rope games where two turners and several jumpers share one rope.
Because you choose the length, one order can cover ropes for different age groups and group sizes. For individual skipping, the Skipping Rope (Nylon Cord & Wooden Handle) is the ready-made option.
Key benefits
- Cut to the length you need, so long-rope games are not limited by fixed sizes.
- Sold by the metre, so you buy only what your groups will use.
- Suits Double Dutch, where rope length decides how many jumpers fit.
- 10 mm nylon gives turners a rope thick enough to grip comfortably.
Who it's for
Primary and intermediate PE programmes running long-rope skipping, and school or club groups that want Double Dutch ropes at a length suited to their jumpers. Buy this when you need one long rope for a group; for handled ropes for individual skipping, browse the rest of the skipping ropes range.
Sizing guide
Decide the total length before ordering, add that many metres to your cart and write the required length in the comments at checkout. If you want several ropes cut separately, list each length so they are not supplied as one continuous piece.
Care, safety and set-up
Coil the rope after use and store it dry. Check the cut ends from time to time and bind them if they begin to fray.
Frequently asked questions
How do I tell you the length I need?
Add the number of metres to your cart, then type the required length into the comments box at checkout. The rope is cut to that length before dispatch.
Can I order more than one rope in a single order?
Yes. Add the combined total of metres to your cart and list each separate length in the checkout comments.
Can a school get quantity pricing on rope?
Quantity pricing applies on many lines, and you can request a quote for a school or club fit-out through the quote page.
