Overview
Wilson Jr NBA is the ball made for the NBA’s own youth programme, sized down so young players can shoot with proper form instead of heaving a full-size ball. Each size comes in its own colour – Size 4 blue, Size 5 red, Size 6 black – which makes it easy to see at a glance that a junior has picked up the right ball.
Pick a size above. Size 4 (25.5″) suits roughly ages 5-8, Size 5 (27.5″) ages 9-11, and Size 6 (28.5″) ages 12-14 and womens play. Size 6 is the largest in this range – for a full-size mens ball, go to a Size 7.
