Overview
The GL Junior In/Outdoor Telescopic Portable Goal is a portable netball post designed for junior use. The post telescopes so the ring can be set up to kiwi netball height at 2.6 m, and a 27 kg counter-weighted base lets it stand on any flat court without ground sleeves.

This post is for junior netball at primary and intermediate schools and junior club grades. The netball size guide pairs 2.6 m with the 3-4yrs band, with 5+yrs moving up to the 3.05 m senior height, so it is not the post for senior teams or match play at full height.

Sizing guide
Set the ring at 2.6 m for the 3-4yrs band on our netball size guide. Younger players in the 1-2yrs band are usually better served by held hula hoops or an adjustable goal at approximately 2.1 m, while 5+yrs play at 3.05 m, which this junior post does not reach.
Care, safety and set-up
For extra stability we recommend placing a sandbag of 20 kg or more on the base, especially outdoors and whenever players are shooting under supervision. Check the telescopic lock before each session and lower the post before moving it.

Does it need ground sleeves or sockets?
No. It is freestanding on a 27 kg counter-weighted base. The ground sleeve notes on the old listing relate to socketed posts, not this one.
Can it be set to senior height?
No. It telescopes up to kiwi netball height at 2.6 m. Senior play at 3.05 m needs a different post from our netball goal posts range.
Can it stay outside?
Yes. All steelwork is hot-dip galvanised for indoor and outdoor use.
