The Reynolds Resistance Mini Bands set gives PE teachers, coaches and physios three mini bands in light, medium and heavy resistance. Use one to switch on glutes and hips before squats, lunges and side steps, then move up a band as the athlete gets stronger. The set packs into a box around 10 cm square, so a class set fits in one tub.

Description

Overview

The Reynolds Resistance Mini Bands set of 3 bundles a light, a medium and a heavy mini band in one pack from the Reynolds Resistance range. Mini bands are lower-body tools: they target hips, glutes, thighs and hamstrings rather than the arms and shoulders a handled tube works.

Three resistances matter because activation and strength work need different loads. Warm-ups and rehabilitation start on light, squats and lunges move to medium, and heavy suits strong athletes on lateral and medial movements.

Key benefits

  • Wakes up glutes before training so they do their share in lower-body lifts.
  • Adds resistance to squats, lunges, leg lifts and side steps without weights.
  • Improves hip mobility and range of motion during warm-ups.
  • Three resistances let one pack serve beginners through to strong athletes.
  • Gives controlled resistance for hip and leg rehabilitation exercises.
  • Strengthens hip abductors and adductors through side-to-side movements.

Who it's for

Suits PE warm-ups, club pre-training activation, gym conditioning and physiotherapy-led rehabilitation. Because a set covers three loads, one pack per athlete or per pair works well for team sports where hip strength and lateral movement matter.

For arm, chest and back work choose a handled tube from the reynolds resistance category instead; mini bands are built for the lower body.

Care, safety and set-up

Check each band for nicks or thinning before use and discard any that are damaged. Keep the three together in their pack so the resistance levels stay easy to identify, and store them away from heat. Covered by our 12-month guarantee.

Frequently asked questions

Which band should a beginner start on?

Light. Once the athlete controls the full set with good form, move to medium, then heavy. Warm-ups and rehabilitation usually stay on the lighter bands.

Can a school buy these in bulk?

Yes. Quantity pricing applies on many fitness lines, and you can request a quote for a full class or team set.

Do mini bands work the upper body?

They are designed for the lower body: hips, glutes, thighs and hamstrings. For arms and shoulders use a handled resistance tube.
