Description
Overview
The Reynolds Resistance Light Tube is the orange, lower-resistance tube in the Reynolds Resistance range, fitted with handles. It is the tube to reach for when technique matters more than load: warm-ups, mobility and stretching, partner drills and first strength sessions.
Because the resistance is light, a whole class can work through arms, shoulders, chest, back, legs and core together without anyone struggling to finish a set.
Key benefits
- Gentle resistance lets beginners learn curls and lateral raises with correct form.
- Suits warm-up, stretching and mobility work before the main session.
- Handles make partner exercises simple and keep drills engaging.
- Gives controlled resistance for early-stage rehabilitation exercises.
- Orange colour separates it from the heavy black tube at a glance.
Who it's for
Aimed at junior PE classes, beginner fitness groups and anyone returning to exercise under supervision. It also works as the warm-up tube for senior athletes before they pick up heavier gear.
Once a student can finish every set comfortably, step them up to the Resistance Tube Heavy – Black, which gives the extra load the light tube cannot.
Care, safety and set-up
Look over the tube for cuts or thinning before each session and remove any damaged tube from the kit. Anchor only on smooth points and store away from heat. Covered by our 12-month guarantee.
Frequently asked questions
Is this tube too light for senior students?
For strength work, usually yes. Use it for their warm-up and mobility, then move to the heavy black tube for loaded sets.
Can we order a class set on school terms?
Yes. Quantity pricing applies on many fitness lines, and schools can request a quote or look at our funding packages for a bigger fit-out.
