The green Reynolds Resistance Pull Up Band offers a 23–34 kg resistance range, placing it in the middle of the five-colour set. It is the all-rounder: light enough for a modest boost on chin-ups, firm enough for curls, extensions and lat pulldowns in a PE class. A sound starting point when you are buying one colour for a mixed group.

Description

Overview

Green marks the midpoint of the Reynolds Resistance pull-up band range with 23–34 kg of resistance. Where black and blue exist mainly to hoist athletes over the bar, green earns its place as a general resistance tool for upper-body strengthening, partner drills and moderate assistance on pull-ups.

For a PE teacher kitting out a class with one band per pair, it covers the widest spread of ability in a single colour. Browse the Reynolds Resistance range to mix in lighter or heavier options.

Key benefits

  • Moderate 23–34 kg rating suits both assisted pull-ups and strength drills.
  • Handles curls, extensions and lat pulldowns for mixed-ability groups.
  • Works in partner exercises with two students pulling against each other.
  • At 0.2 kg each, a class set stores in a single tote.

Who it's for

Intermediate and secondary PE programmes, club coaches running warm-ups, and gear managers who want one versatile band are the target.

Lighter athletes who need real help on pull-ups should move to the Pull Up Band – Blue (45-54kg). For stretching-focused sessions consider the Pull Up Band – Red (6.8-11.3kg).

Care, safety and set-up

Look the band over for nicks before use, especially where it sits on the bar. Store it dry, away from heat, and keep it off rough concrete. Covered by the store's 12-month guarantee.

Frequently asked questions

Is green enough to assist a full pull-up?

It gives moderate help. Athletes who cannot yet manage any repetitions usually need the heavier blue or black band; green suits those close to unassisted.

How do the colours differ?

Each colour is a resistance step: yellow 1–5 kg, red 6.8–11.3 kg, green 23–34 kg, blue 45–54 kg and black 79–104 kg. Heavier bands give more assistance and more resistance.

Do you offer quantity pricing on a class set?

Quantity pricing applies on many lines. You can also request a quote for a school fit-out and ask about funding packages.
