Description
Overview
Black is the top step of the Reynolds Resistance pull-up band ladder, carrying a 79–104 kg resistance range. That makes it the band to reach for when a player needs the most help getting over the bar, or when lighter bands no longer challenge a strong senior athlete on curls, extensions and lat pulldowns.
Because it is the heaviest, it is also the least forgiving for mobility and stretching. For gentle work, look further down the Reynolds Resistance range.
Key benefits
- Gives maximum assistance on pull-ups and chin-ups thanks to the 79–104 kg rating.
- Delivers heavy resistance for curls, extensions and lat pulldowns without loading a bar.
- Anchors partner exercises where two athletes pull against each other.
- Packs down to 0.2 kg, so it travels easily between gym and field.
Who it's for
Senior club gear managers and secondary school strength coaches will get the most from the black band. It suits heavier or newer athletes who need a lot of support on assisted pull-ups, and experienced lifters who want serious resistance.
For most students the Pull Up Band – Blue (45-54kg) or Pull Up Band – Green (23-34kg) will be a better first purchase.
Care, safety and set-up
Inspect the band for nicks before each use and retire it if the surface is damaged. Store it away from heat and sharp edges. Covered by the store's 12-month guarantee.
