Description
Overview
The Pickle Ball Home Set is a two-player starter kit: two ply bats, four outdoor balls and a mesh drawstring bag to keep it all together. It is the pickleball equivalent of a backyard tennis set, suited to families and to teachers introducing the game to a small group.
Pickleball itself is a cross between tennis, badminton and table tennis, played on a badminton doubles-sized court with a net slightly lower than a tennis net. The hollow plastic ball with holes slows the game down, giving longer rallies and an easy game for mixed ages and abilities.
Key benefits
- Ready to play out of the bag with bats, balls and no assembly.
- Solid ply bats, 39 × 20.5 cm and 11 mm thick, with gripped handles.
- Outdoor 40-hole balls suit a driveway or hard court.
- Mesh drawstring bag lets the set hang in a garage or PE shed.
Who it's for
Choose this set for home use, holiday programmes or a primary class trying pickleball for the first time. It is casual-play gear rather than club equipment, with two bats only.
If you need enough bats for a full class, look at the Pickle Ball – Outdoor Set of 6 or, for a gym floor, the Pickle Ball – Indoor Set of 6.
Care, safety and set-up
Return bats and balls to the mesh bag after play and hang it indoors between games.
