Description
Overview
The Mikasa V360W Volleyball is a training ball for PE classes and junior programmes rather than a match ball. It is built light so younger players can develop a range of skills without being overpowered or discouraged, and that lighter feel is the reason to choose it over a standard-weight ball. Mikasa lists it as the replacement for the V350.
The PU laminated cover is intended for indoor courts. For sand or grass look at the Beach Volleyball, and for senior competition see the Avaro Premium Match Volleyball.
Key benefits
- Lighter weight builds confidence in beginners without discouraging them.
- Comfortable contact from the smooth MSPT synthetic surface.
- Consistent shape from 18 machine stitched panels.
- Nylon wound, butyl rubber bladder construction under the cover.
- Quick, clean inflation through the miniaturised self-sealing Mikasa valve.
- Blue and yellow colourway is easy to track in a busy gym.
Who it's for
Primary and intermediate PE classes and junior club sessions where players are learning to pass, set and serve. Its lighter build suits young volleyball enthusiasts who find a standard ball hard to control.
It is not a match ball. Senior teams and competition squads should look at the match balls in the volleyballs category instead.
Care, safety and set-up
Keep it on indoor courts; the PU laminated cover is not intended for asphalt. Inflate through the self-sealing valve with a needle pump and check pressure before class.
