Description
Overview
Avaro Spring Base Slalom Poles are tall training poles you plant in the ground to build weaving, dribbling and agility courses. The 25 mm PVC pole sits on a flexible spring with a spike, so when a player brushes past it the pole gives and returns upright rather than staying bent or getting knocked flat. This set contains four poles at 1.7 m tall.
They come from the Avaro range designed in NZ and belong with our speed & agility training gear.
Key benefits
- Keeps drills flowing because clipped poles spring back upright on their flexible base.
- Anchors into turf with the spiked base, so poles stay put through a session.
- Stands tall at 1.7 m, so senior players weave around it rather than over it.
- Light to carry with 25 mm PVC poles.
Who it's for
The set suits football (soccer), hockey, rugby and rugby league dribbling and evasion drills, plus general agility work in PE and club fitness sessions. Four poles is enough for a compact slalom course or two small stations.
Need a spare or a different height? The Spring Base Pole 1.5mx2.5cm is sold singly at a lower 1.5 m height. For a fuller set-up, see the Speed Agility Kit.
Care, safety and set-up
A spike base needs grass or soft ground to hold; on a hard court it will not stand on its own. Pull poles out by the base rather than the tip to avoid bending them, and store them dry. Covered by our 12-month guarantee.
Frequently asked questions
How many poles are in the set?
Four poles, each 1.7 m tall on a spring base. If you need more, quantity pricing applies and you can add several sets to a quote.
Can I use them on an indoor court?
They are spike-based, so they suit grass or soft ground rather than a hard floor.
