Description
Overview
The Avaro Padder Tennis Net 12' is a 12 ft net for the short-court game schools use to introduce tennis. Padder tennis is played with solid bats and softer balls on a small court, so a full-length tennis net is more than you need; this shorter net is sized for that format and, as Avaro states, designed for use in schools.
It is part of our junior tennis range, alongside the Padder Tennis Bat and the Low Compression Tennis Balls that complete a set-up. Avaro is our house brand, designed in NZ, and this net is held as imported stock.
Key benefits
- Right length for padder and short-court games, so play stays compact.
- Designed for school use, where nets are set up and packed away often.
- Light to carry between hall and playground at 0.5 kg shipping weight.
- Backed by the store's 12-month guarantee.
Who it's for
Primary and intermediate schools running padder tennis in PE, and clubs offering junior sessions on a shortened court. If your court or hall space is wider, the Padder Tennis Net 18' is the longer sibling; check the width you need to span before choosing between the two.
This is a net only. Confirm you have posts or a fixing point to hang it from before ordering.
Care, safety and set-up
Take the net down and dry it if it has been used outside, then store it loosely coiled rather than knotted so the mesh keeps its shape. Our tennis net height guide sets a standard net at 91 cm at the centre with 1.07 m posts; check your posts if you want the same height for padder games.
Frequently asked questions
Does the net come with posts?
No. The listing is the net only. You will need posts or another fixing point.
Should I choose the 12' or 18' net?
Measure the width of your court or hall space. The 12' suits the tighter padder court; the Padder Tennis Net 18' spans a wider gap.
Can we order several for a school?
Yes. Add the nets to a quote and request a quote, or ask our team about funding packages for school sports gear.
