Sizing guide
From the javelin weight guide: men 18 and over throw 800 g, men 16–17 throw 700 g, and men under 15 throw 500 or 600 g. Women 18 and over throw 600 g, women 16–17 throw 500 g, women under 15 throw 400 g. Masters grades step down in weight with age.
Care, safety and set-up
Return the javelin to its storage tube after every session to protect the tip and shaft, and store it flat. Throw only under supervision in a cleared sector.
