The Avaro Renegade Composite is the beginner's pickleball bat in the Avaro range. Rather than a graphite face alone, it uses a graphite and fibreglass mix, a combination chosen for toughness so the bat survives being dropped, knocked and passed around a PE class.
Weighing 210 g it is the lighter of the two Avaro paddles, which makes it easier for younger players and newcomers to control. Avaro is designed in New Zealand with schools and clubs in mind.
