Description

Overview

The Combo Pole System – wheeled puts a telescopic net post on a compact wheeled base so it can be rolled into position, set to height and rolled away again. Its telescopic adjustment reaches short tennis, badminton and volleyball heights, which is what makes it useful in a hall that changes sport between periods. Gym Leader builds it to order, and because of its size the freight is quoted separately rather than charged at the standard rate.

It is the mobile alternative to the Combo Pole System for sockets. Where the socketed version stays in one spot, this one is for floors that cannot be drilled or courts that move around the hall.

Key benefits

  • Reset the court quickly with telescopic adjustment across three net heights.
  • Clear the floor after play by wheeling the base away.
  • No floor sockets or drilling needed, so it suits leased or multi-use halls.
  • Compact design keeps the footprint small when stored.

Who it's for

Pick the wheeled system for a school gym, community hall or club that runs volleyball, badminton and short tennis on the same floor, or that hires its space and cannot leave fittings in the floor. It sits in the volleyball poles category alongside the socketed model.

Set the net to the size guide heights: 1.55 m at the edges and 1.524 m at the centre for badminton; 2.14 m for junior girls, 2.24 m for junior boys and women, and 2.43 m for men in volleyball. Pair it with a net such as the Volleyball Net – International Match to complete the court.

Care, safety and set-up

Wheel the system rather than dragging it, and lock the telescopic section at height before tensioning the net. Store it upright, out of foot traffic. It is made to order and may incur additional transport charges, so add it to a quote for freight to your venue before ordering.

Frequently asked questions

Is it hard to move between courts?

No. The system has a compact wheel-away base, so it rolls into place and out again once the net is down.

Which heights can it be set to?

Short tennis, badminton and volleyball. Use the badminton and volleyball net height guides on this page to set the centre height for each sport.

How does freight work on this item?

It is made to order and may incur additional transport charges. You can request a quote and the team will price delivery to your address before you order.

Wheeled or socketed?

Wheeled for shared or undrillable floors and moving courts; the socketed version for a permanent court position where the floor can be fixed into.

The net is 1.55 metres (5 ft 1 inch) high at the edges and 1.524 metres (5 ft) high in the centre.

The net posts are placed over the doubles sidelines, even when singles is played.

The net height measurement is taken at the centre of the net.
