Description
Overview
The Avaro Table Tennis Table Econ is the entry point in the Avaro range of table tennis tables, designed in NZ for recreational play rather than competition. It is the table for a school breakout space, a club room or a family garage, where it needs to take casual use and then fold away out of the road.
The 12 mm table top is MDF fibre board with a multi-layer coating, which is what keeps the bounce consistent across the surface. Each half folds independently: fold one up for playback practice on your own, or fold both for compact storage and roll it away on its wheels.
Key benefits
- Consistent bounce from the multi-layer coated MDF top.
- Practise alone using the playback position with one half raised.
- Double folding system stows the table compactly between sessions.
- Wheels let one person move the folded table across a hall floor.
- Recreational build sized for schools, clubs and home use.
Who it's for
Choose the Econ for recreational play: lunchtime games at an intermediate or secondary school, a youth club, a marae or a community hall, or a home games room. It is not built for competitive club training or tournaments.
If your players are training seriously or the table will be in constant use, look at the Avaro Table Tennis Table S&C, the step-up model in the range. Bats and balls are sold separately; the Sunflex TTennis Balls 6pk and the SUNFLEX PRIME S10 BAT are practical school choices.
Care, safety and set-up
The table is a large, heavy item at 62 kg, so delivery is freight-quoted rather than charged at standard rates; add it to a quote and our team will confirm freight to your address. Plan for two people to unpack and set up, and keep it on a level floor so the two halves meet flush.
Wipe the coated top with a damp cloth and keep it dry; do not leave it outdoors. Fold both halves and lock them before wheeling it away so the top does not swing open. Products carry a 12-month guarantee.
