Overview
The Nike J Shin Guard is a slim football (soccer) guard: a composite shell that slides in under the sock, with no ankle section or straps to get in the way. It is built to take the knocks of training and match play while staying light and low-profile on the leg.
The shell is 80% polyethylene with a 20% EVA foam lining, and it is punched through with perforations so air can move and sweat does not build up behind the guard. Each guard is shaped as a left and a right, contoured to sit flat against the shin.

Sizing guide
Nike sizes the J Shin Guard by the player’s height: XS for about 140-150 cm, S for about 150-160 cm, M for about 160-170 cm, and L for about 170-180 cm. If a player is between sizes, the smaller guard usually sits better under the sock; a guard should cover from just above the ankle to a few fingers below the knee.
Care, safety and set-up
Wipe the shells clean and let them air-dry after each game rather than leaving them in a closed kit bag. Hand-wash with mild soap if needed, and keep them out of the dryer and away from direct heat so the shell keeps its shape.
