Silver Fern Interference Sticks are a coaching aid for netball and basketball shooting practice. A coach or helper holds one or both sticks up in front of a shooter, forcing the attacker to look for space and lift the shot over a high target rather than a flat one.
Each stick has a foam padded block end with a protective cover, so the contact point is cushioned if a ball or hand meets it.
