Description
Overview
SpikeBuoy is an add-on, not a game on its own. It attaches to a Standard or Pro Spikeball set so the net floats, and the anchor bag holds it in place while you play in a pool, lake or the sea.
Standard rules apply with one change for pools: any shot landing outside the pool is out. Water depth is your choice, and shallower water means more running and diving.
Key benefits
- Turns an existing Spikeball set into a pool, lake or ocean game.
- Carry bag doubles as the anchor bag, so there is one less item to lose.
- Anchor with 1–2 kg of sand or any smooth object found on site.
- Works at any water depth, from shallow play to deeper swimming water.
- Uses standard Spikeball rules, so no re-teaching is needed.
Who it's for
Made for schools, holiday programmes and clubs that already own a Spikeball set and run swimming or beach days, and for families with a pool or bach near the water. It suits confident swimmers and needs the same adult supervision as any pool activity.
You must already have a Standard or Pro set from the Spikeball range to use it. If you are starting from scratch, buy the set first from the spikeball category, then add SpikeBuoy.
Care, safety and set-up
Fill the anchor bag with about 1–2 kg of sand or another item without sharp edges, then empty and rinse it after use. Store it dry with your Spikeball set.
Frequently asked questions
Does SpikeBuoy come with a Spikeball set?
No. It is an expansion kit only. You need your own Standard or Pro Spikeball set to attach it to.
Can I use it in a pool?
Yes, as well as lakes and the ocean. In a pool, standard rules apply except that any shot landing outside the pool is out of bounds.
What do I anchor it with?
Fill the carry bag with a 1–2 kg item that has no sharp edges. Sand is the easiest option at the beach.
Can a school buy several kits together?
Yes. Add the kits to a quote and request a quote; the customer-service team can bundle them with sets.
